Julian's Grandchild Stool is one of seven stools that a favorite customer commissioned to give her grandchildren this Christmas. Every stool is centered on an animal that has a special meaning for the family. Each child's initials and birth date are part of the rug's back ground, creating a lasting family heirloom The colorful folk art qualities bring a playfulness that is perfect. The green wooden stools were made and shipped to me - I took on the rest of the project by making the rug top that I then attached to a slightly padded insert and finished with a black braid.
