With a show of affection these darling Chickadees are perched on an old stoneware crock with a simple heart painted on the front that is symbolic of their love. Their feet are hand made by the artist from copper wire and epoxy, really life like! Handcarved entirely from American Chestnut the wood grain flows beautifully in the Chickadees while the artist filed most of the grain away on the crock and added a crackle finish with a nice antique medium to really give it an authentic stoneware look.
