Hand-Dyed and As-Is Wools on Linen
I rarely want to keep what I make, but this one struck some kind of nerve - and not one that has to do with having a Scottie, since I have a Jack Russell, which is quite enough dog for now.
This was made as part of a set of chargers which are small mats that are placed on a harvest table before the meal is served. I've done many of them over the years - Scotties, geometrics, ponies, cats, rabbits, birds nesting or resting in a branch, hearts. Recently I made a set that was used in a wedding. They were placed on the tables under the tent and then given to the newlyweds as a present. It was fun to be part of the festivities.
